Travel tips!
/It’s Wellness Wednesday again and today it’s time to talk about traveling. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been traveling a lot this summer: by airplanes, trains, buses, and my poor little feet.
I love seeing new places, meeting new people, and becoming infused in different cultures. It sounds glorious, but to me traveling also comes with a lot of stress. Today I wanted to share with you some of my personal tips for traveling. There’s always something to learn from other travelers, so please feel free to comment and let me know if you have more ideas. I would love to try them on my next trip.. which happens to be tomorrow haha.
1. Hand sanitizer- a key element in any bag, and especially when you travel
2. Wet wipes
3. Tide pen
4. Small, hopefully spray, deodorant- I hate sweating when I travel, but sometimes it’s summer and you’re trying to catch a flight and, ya gross
5. Fun snacks! Granola bars, chips, popcorn, trail mix, cheese sticks, yogurt
6. Have a fun playlist prepared
7. Catch up on some fun shows- or watch an opera! You finally have the time to do it
8. Bring extra copies of important documents or extra copies of your music- you never know
9. Carry more cash than you think you will need
10. Have lots of water on you and drink it- it really makes a huge difference and helps you recover from the journey (especially after flights, they are so dehydrating!)
11. Bring melatonin- especially if you travel to a different time zone
12. Eye cover/mask and ear plugs- sometimes you end up sitting next to a loud crowd...
13. Wear comfortable clothes and SHOES- yes, we all want to look “chic” when we travel, but after a long day, you can’t even find a mirror to see what I look like, so who cares
14. Extra external battery for small electronics- just don’t trust your phone battery...
Safe travels and don’t forget to have fun!!!
